The team in Kennebunk is thrilled to recognize Devin Harding as their 2025 Employee of the Year! This honor is especially meaningful because Devin was promoted to Account Manager earlier this year after starting out in the yard several years ago. From building loads and learning the ins and outs of the operations to now managing accounts and building strong customer relationships, Devin has shown what hard work, dedication, and growth look like.

Congratulations to Mark Sylvester for earning the employee of the year award for the Retail Operations Center. Mark has excelled in the newly created role in purchasing and is responsible for helping our lumberyards improve their merchandising and further develop and support our vendor programs. While much of his time was spent in Salisbury and Brunswick this year, he was also able to have meaningful impacts in several other locations and is looking forward to expanding the impact in 2026. Mark’s enthusiasm and expertise in merchandising, along with his Hancock Lumber experience, provides energy and expertise in supporting our twelve retail locations. He is truly committed to making meaningful contributions and connections that strengthen Team Hancock. Congratulations, Mark!

Andy Bariteau has earned the honor of 2024 Employee of the Year for the Bridgton location! In the words of Toni Vacca, the 2023 Bridgton Employee of the Year, “Andy is a person that you always want on your team. He is a hard worker, always has a good attitude, treats customers with respect and friendliness, is thoughtful and helpful to his coworkers, and he is just an all-around good person. I cannot think of one thing that is not positive about Andy. He goes above and beyond and is a huge asset to this company. We are lucky to work with him!” Bridgton GM, Micah Voter, commented that he couldn’t say it any better. Speaking about above and beyond, Andy has opened his home on multiple occasions for company gatherings, for which the team is grateful!
