Hancock Lumber Company President, Kevin Hancock, recently gave a speech titled, Rethinking the Grindstone, as part of the UNE Merrill Business Ethics Lecture Series. Kevin has a unique view on leadership and management that has evolved over time, through life lessons, business experiences, and most recently, his travels to the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation. Kevin’s personal transformation ignited unprecedented company success, including Hancock Lumber being honored as one of seventy Maine companies to receive a 2014 Best Places to Work award!
Rethinking the Grindstone is part of Kevin’s first book titled, Not for Sale: Finding Center in the Land of Crazy Horse, which will be available for purchase in August 2015!
