I am writing to relay my compliments to Hancock Lumber, and specifically the General Manager in Bridgton, Mr. Voter.
I reached out to that location because one of our customers, who purchased a Cabin Kit from us, will soon be taking delivery of their kit and will need a forklift to offload the pallet. Because our product is very much like a large pallet of 2×6 lumber, it only makes sense to find an outfit geared towards handling such items and have the ability to deliver them as well. That is how I found your company.
Being from Florida and shipping to Maine is quite challenging and we just don’t have the local knowledge needed to find everything easily.
Mr. Voter replied to my email request very quickly, which was a great help, to let me know that Hancock Lumber cannot receive, handle and deliver products which are not sold by the company. His quick response and honesty were greatly appreciated, but he went a step further to refer us to a local equipment rental company that could help us with the forklift rental. He didn’t have to do that, but he did and it made a difference.
That gesture was extremely helpful to me, and more importantly my customer.
I have already let my customer know how helpful you were and let them know that if they need any additional materials to complete the project, to go to your local store to get those supplies.
I hope that you will relay my sincere appreciation to Mr. Voter and the Hancock Lumber Team for assisting us yesterday.
