The Hancock House: Pine Ridge Reservation

2013_May_HancockHouseBuild

Volunteers Raise the Walls on the Hancock House, the only new construction residence to be built on Pine Ridge this year!

Hancock Lumber donated the building materials to construct a new home in one of the poorest places in America, on the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota, home to the Oglala Sioux Indians. This is the ONLY home that will be built on the reservation this year! To learn more about this project, please visit Kevin Hancock’s non-profit organzation, The Seventh Power.
