Congratulations to Mark Sylvester for earning the employee of the year award for the Retail Operations Center. Mark has excelled in the newly created role in purchasing and is responsible for helping our lumberyards improve their merchandising and further develop and support our vendor programs. While much of his time was spent in Salisbury and Brunswick this year, he was also able to have meaningful impacts in several other locations and is looking forward to expanding the impact in 2026. Mark’s enthusiasm and expertise in merchandising, along with his Hancock Lumber experience, provides energy and expertise in supporting our twelve retail locations.
