Craig Cooper

A native Mainer, Craig graduated from Southern Maine Technical College in 1972 with a degree in Building Construction. He opened Rainbow Construction in 1978 and began a career in remodeling and building fine homes for residents of the greater Portland area. What began as just two people evolved into a dedicated crew of fine craftsman who worked together under Craig’s leadership for Rainbow Construction.  Craig established a network of strategic partnerships over the years, many which stretch back for decades, with what he considered to be the best suppliers and subcontractors in the business.

Thank you for making Hancock Lumber a part of your business for so many years. You’ve truly made Maine a better place. We wish you all the best in your well-deserved retirement!
