Congratulations to Hancock Regional General Manager Eric Dolloff on being selected as the 2026 Retail Lumber Dealers Association of Maine (RLDAM) Lumber Person of the Year! One of the industry’s highest honors, this lumber and building material industry recognition is presented annually. Eric joins several other members of Team Hancock who received this incredible honor in the past including David Hancock (1995), Kevin Hancock (2003), and John Yazwinski (2015).
Eric is a 27-year Team Hancock veteran, starting in 1998 as the Windham Logistics Manager. Following that role, he moved to Kennebunk as the Operations Manager in 2000 before going back to Windham in 2002. After the acquisition of Mariner Lumber, Eric moved back to his Damariscotta roots to become an Account Manager in 2005 before being promoted to General Manager in 2006. In 2024, Eric earned a promotion to a newly created role of Regional General Manager covering the Greater Portland, Midcoast, and Capital territories including our lumberyards in Yarmouth, Brunswick, Damariscotta, and Augusta.
Congratulations, Eric, on receiving the RLDAM Lumber Person of the Year award that represents your commitment, hard work, and enthusiasm for this industry and beyond. Eric will travel to the Samoset Resort in Rockland, ME later this fall to take part in the recognition ceremony where he will officially be presented this prestigious award.
