Recently, Hancock Lumber had the honor of hosting a delegation from the UK, traveling to Maine to learn about the forestry industry. This visit was facilitated by the connections of Commissioner Beal, the incoming President of NASDA (National Association of State Departments of Agriculture), and the current President of NASF (National Association of State Foresters). The UK delegation was particularly interested in understanding the forest products industry, forest sustainability, forest health issues, and other related topics, as they face similar challenges in the UK.
