Hancock Lumber Adds Two New Log Procurement Foresters

Hancock Lumber is excited to announce two exciting additions to the log procurement team. Please join us in welcoming Chase Thebarge and Karla Allen! Chase will be buying logs in the Bethel, ME region and Karla will be focused on the Madison, NH area.  Our log procurement team is now fully staffed and eager to continue providing high quality sawlogs to our four sawmills.

Karla Allen
A seasoned professional, Karla Allen has held several positions at Hancock Lumber, and the former Madison Lumber Mill; however, log procurement is one of her passions.  With extensive experience in log procurement, forest management planning, and stumpage procurement, Karla is a valuable addition to our procurement team.  Karla will continue to oversee backhaul truck dispatching, in addition to procuring logs.  Her knowledge of numerous Hancock systems and work experience will be a huge asset to the log procurement team.  Karla can be reached at 603-733-7922 or at [email protected].
Chase Thebarge
Chase is a Dixfield, Maine native with an Associate of Science degree in Applied Forest Management from the University of Maine at Fort Kent. Throughout Chase’s career, he has had experience buying wood for ND Paper in Rumford and as an Operations Forester for Wagner Forest Management.  He is a Maine intern forester working toward getting his Maine Forestry License.  Chase is an avid outdoorsman and is especially passionate about hunting!
