Two New Boom Trucks: Welcome to Team Hancock

New Boom TrucksTWO NEW BOOM TRUCKS: WELCOME TO TEAM HANCOCK!

Hancock Lumber is excited to welcome two new boom trucks to the fleet this summer.  After months of spec-ing the components and assembling the trucks, our new wheels have landed at our Bridgton and Windham facilities,  officially part of Team Hancock’s fleet.  Keep your eyes out for the two new boom trucks rolling down the road to our jobsites.

Retail COO, Mark Hopkins, commented on the newest additions to our fleet, “I am really excited about these two new boom trucks that we are adding to the fleet this month! These trucks are big investments, but we are committed to logistics excellence and reinvesting in our business to better serve our customers.”

New boom truckReinvesting in our business is a key part of what Team Hancock does to deliver on our mission to be the most accurate and dependable logistics partner for your company! Every day we strive to deliver product 100% on-time and in-full to our customers.Hancock’s focus on planning and truck capacity reduces jobsite visits and paperwork, allowing more time for building. Our fully freighted trucks mean fewer jobsite interruptions which also helps us reduce our carbon footprint–fewer trips with more product on each truck maximizes our resources and better serves our customers.

Our Logistics Managers send Advanced Shipment Notification emails to the job site contact the moment a delivery is scheduled, complete with a list of products and quantities scheduled to arrive. The moment a special order lands at a lumberyard, the customer is notified and asked when and how they’d like the product. Our drivers promise to call ahead before leaving for a job site so the crew can prepare for the materials to land. Communication is key and Hancock Lumber is Built to Deliver.
