Kitchen Designer Selected as Finalist for Medallion Kitchen of the Year Award!

Beautiful Medallion kitchen designed by Home Again kitchen and bath designer, Sherry McFarland.Breaking news…Sherry McFarland, one of Home Again by Hancock Lumber’s kitchen designers, has been selected as a finalist for the Medallion Kitchen of the Year award! Help us help her win this exciting Medallion Cabinetry kitchen design contest, as she has been selected as 1 of 25 finalists from a competing field of 280! Sherry’s kitchen features all Medallion cabinetry in a very dynamic kitchen, shown here.

The contest is now open to the public for voting. You can vote once per day, up until the voting deadline of 11/17/15.  We would love to see those votes tally up in her favor and see the winner of this national contest be from right here in Maine. Click on the design icon link below to vote!

Sherry brings 18 years of design experience with certifications in both Kitchen and Bath Design by the National Kitchen & Bath Association. Sherry is Hancock’s product coordinator and consults on vendors and products for our showrooms. With a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Design and Psychology, Sherry has a unique way of viewing and approaching client’s projects. Sherry’s design principles and drafting skills help her customers reach all of their goals. Sherry has taught an adult education class on “Enhancing Your Kitchen”, has presented numerous Home Show seminars, has designed a custom bathroom for the 2004 York Historical Society Designer Showhouse and has been published in the Portland Press Herald for her kitchen design work.

“I firmly believe that efficiency, as well as aesthetics, make the kitchen the heart of the home.” – Sherry McFarland
