The World's Finest Pine Comes From Hancock Lumber
|
Hancock Lumber Company has been doing business in Maine since 1848. What began as a timber harvesting company along the Sebago Lake waterways is today the largest privately owned lumber company in Northern New England, employing nearly 450 people, and operating a diverse array of integrated businesses.
Hancock Lumber operates three state-of-the-art sawmills located in Casco, Bethel, and Pittsfield, Maine. Each year, we manufacture approximately 70 million board feet of Eastern White Pine from forests where sustainable growth is the guiding principle. Hancock Lumber’s sister company, Hancock Land Company, is the largest private timberland owner in Southern Maine with more than 12,000 acres Eastern White Pine forest.
