| Frequently Asked Questions | |

What is the Hancock Home Improvement Project Card product? |
It is a home improvement project card to be used for products purchased exclusively from Hancock Lumber. It may not be used for installation charges except in the case of Marvin who installs their own products. The financing for this home improvement card is offered through Wells Fargo Financial National Bank, not Hancock Lumber Company. The project card is a personal credit program. The card may not be used to pay off an existing charge account with Hancock Lumber. |
|
Can I use the Home Project Card to pay off my Hancock Lumber regular charge account? |
No. This card is to be utilized for specific Hancock project purchases only. |
|
How do I apply for a Hancock Home Improvement Project Card? |
Applying for the Hancock Home Improvement Project Card must be completed in-person at a Hancock Lumber retail location. After filling out a Wells Fargo application, a Hancock associate will process the information and approval online. In the event the internet is not available, there are forms to use; however, whenever possible the application must be done on line. Response for application approval is made within 15 seconds unless there are further questions. A Hancock employee can make a phone call to customer service and clear up any unresolved issues to get an answer on the application. Upon approval, a Hancock employee goes into the new customer’s on line account and immediately ‘reserves’ the funds necessary for their Hancock Lumber purchase. |
|
Can I take the application home, complete it and then mail it directly to Wells Fargo? |
Yes and no. You can take the application home to complete it but the signed application must be returned to a Hancock Lumber location either in person or by mail for on-line processing.
